Adventure Trip
  • Day 01 -  Arrive in Antananarivo

Arrival at Ivato International airport.After custom clearance, meeting and assistance by an English speaking agent.Then short city tour in Antananarivo ( Tana for shorter), capital of Madagascar.Overnight at a nice Relais des Plateaux/Ivotel on bed and breakfast.
  • Day 02 – Tana/Miandrivazo

Leave Tana in the morning. Southward to Antsirabe (3h drive) then westward to Miandrivazo 5h drive from Antsirabe. Picnic lunch en route. Good road.Overnight in at Chez la Reine Rasalimo hotel on halfboard.
  • Day 03 – Tsiribihina river descent

Morning departure to the boarding point of Masekampy (2h drive) then beginning of the descent, passing through the “gorges”, observation of the first lemurs.Camping on a large sand bank close to the forest. Meals on board.
  • Day 04 – Tsiribihina river descent

Departure around 09.00 in the middle of the morning, 30min walk will lead to a very nice waterfall. After lunch, departure to the camp site after crossing big cliffs and Berevo village. Once again camping on a sandbank. A village near the camp site will join us at night and a party will be organized for the guests with Sakalava songs and “cabosses”. Meals on board.

  • Day 05 – To Bekopaka

Early morning departure; continuation of the descent.Now we can see the first baobabs. Arrival around 11.00 at Belo sur TsiribihinaTo bekopaka; 90 km, 5h driveOvernight at hotel Orchidées du Bemaraha/Relais des Tsingy on full board.
  • Day 06 – Small Tsingy and Manambolo

After breakfast, pirogue ballad along the Manambolo river and its gorges (1h30). Then departure for the small Tsingy tripOvernight at Overnight at hotel Orchidées du Bemaraha/Relais des Tsingy on full board.
  • Day 07 – Big Tsingy

After breakfast, leave for 1h30 drive to the departure point of the big Tsingy; Excursion of 6hours with amazing panoramas. Come back to the hotel for overnight on full board.

  • Day 08 – Bekopaka/Morondava

Drive to Morondava. Stop at the famous Baobab avenue to enjoy the sunset.Then overnight at Palissandre Cote Ouest/  a nice hotel on half board.
  • Day 09 – Morondava/Tana

Fly to Tana, check in at a comfortable hotel. City tour depending on the arrival time;Overnight at Relais des Plateaux/Ivotel on bed and breakfast.
  • Day 10 – Tana out

Transfer to the airport – fly out
